OnlyOnce uses the details you provide to manage the Berlin waitlist, contact you about future matching rounds and understand who you are open to meeting.

What is collected

Your first name, email address, date of birth, age calculated when you register, declared gender, who you would like to meet, consent choices, referral and campaign information, and any optional research answer you choose to share.

Age gate

We use your date of birth to check that you are at least 18 before saving a registration. Registrations that do not pass this server-side age gate are rejected. A date-of-birth check is not the same as government-ID verification; when an age concern is reported, we may require additional evidence before allowing an introduction.

Registration analytics

OnlyOnce records first-party product events such as landing-page visits, Join clicks and completed registration steps. These events help us understand whether people want this matchmaking format and where the registration flow needs improvement.

Meta advertising measurement

If you choose “Allow Meta analytics,” OnlyOnce loads the Meta Pixel and may send a matching Lead event through Meta’s Conversions API after your registration is successfully saved. This may include a hashed version of your email address, an anonymous registration reference, browser identifiers, IP address, browser information and the page where you registered. Meta uses this information for advertising measurement, attribution and campaign optimisation. We do not send your date of birth, age, gender, who you want to meet, voice audio or conversation content to Meta. You can decline marketing tracking and still register.

Payments

Stripe processes the €4.88 round payment. OnlyOnce sends Stripe your email address and a registration reference so the payment can be connected to your signup. OnlyOnce does not receive or store your full card details.

What stays out of registration analytics

Future voice recordings, transcript text, orientation data, dealbreakers and private matchmaker summaries are not stored in general registration analytics.

Live voice preview

If you explicitly start the live preview and allow microphone access, your microphone audio is sent directly from your browser to the Google Gemini Live API so the matchmaker can respond in real time. OnlyOnce does not store the preview audio or transcript. The session ends when you stop it or after three minutes.

Your choice

You may stop before submitting the form. After joining, you can request access, correction or deletion by replying to an OnlyOnce email sent to your registered address.

Law enforcement requests

We review government requests for user information under our Law Enforcement Request Guidelines and disclose only what valid legal process requires.
